Our Initiatives
Creating a meaningful Christmas experience where children have the opportunity to give, share, and experience the joy of helping their families.
Giving Angels
The Giving Angels Christmas Store was created in December 2014 to provide a meaningful holiday experience for children from low-income families.
Unlike a traditional gift giveaway, the Giving Angels Christmas Store gives children the opportunity to select gifts for their parents and siblings. The purpose is to encourage giving, sharing, and family connection during the Christmas season.
Giving Angels
Children select gifts for their parents and siblings — encouraging giving, sharing, and family connection.
Academic-related activities are part of the event, and each child receives an age-appropriate book.
Each participating family receives support to help with holiday needs, including gift cards.
Family pictures are taken during the event to help create meaningful memories.
Our Process
Opulent Life partners with area schools and churches and receives recommendations from the community when selecting families to participate.
The Giving Angels Christmas Store is free and by invitation, allowing the organization to provide personal attention and assistance to participating children and families.
